THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ARE HERE :

KEYROOMS

Certain areas are now protected by locked doors that can only be opened with the correct key. When looking at these doors, a “Requires Key” prompt will be displayed.

Loot inside these locations will only spawn once the door has been unlocked.

After being opened, the door will automatically lock itself again after 1 hour if no players are within a 100 metre radius.

Keys can be found on officer zombies after killing them.

SOUNDS

Animal sounds are now back in the game. You will once again be able to hear animals such as bears, reindeer, boars, and other wildlife in the distance.

At the same time, environmental sounds like wind, water, and rock noises have been reduced to make the world sound less overwhelming and improve overall audio clarity.

TORCHES

Torches will no longer dry your clothing or defrost food. They now serve purely as a portable light source.

HEAT SOURCES

Drying your clothing, getting the heatbuff and defrosting food is now much more reliable, as soon as it reached 450 degrees celsius. The time required for these actions has been significantly reduced. Fireplaces now also show the actual temperatures again.

Abusing gas stoves or cooking setups to instantly defrost food by repeatedly turning them on and off is no longer possible.

Frozen food now requires continuous heating in order to properly defrost.

FROST-RESISTANCE

Building up your frost resistance now takes around 12 hours of surviving in the cold. The harsher the temperatures, the faster your resistance will grow.

New icons next to the bar will show your current progress and the frost-resistance buff you have already unlocked.

Dying will completely reset all progress. Stay alive long enough, and your body will slowly adapt to the cold, rewarding you with less suffering over time.

RECOVERY

Health regeneration has been increased by 20%, blood regeneration by 30%, and recovering from a broken leg is now 50% faster.

MORPHINE

Using a morphine injector while suffering from a broken leg will now prevent you from falling unconscious. Injecting morphine will also fully reset your current shock state.

COMBAT-LOG

If you have been involved in combat within the last 10 minutes — either by shooting another player or getting hit by gunfire — your logout timer will be increased to 2 minutes.

A dedicated in-game message will inform you when the extended combat logout timer is active.

LOGIN-SOUND

Whenever a player logs into the server, a custom login sound will be played.

Players within a 20 metre radius will be able to hear it, so stay alert — someone nearby may have just arrived.

PREDATOR MEAT

Meat from animals such as bears, and wolves will no longer make you sick after being properly cooked or baked.

BOATS

Boats will now always spawn fueled and with a spark plug already installed. The spark plug can not be detached by other players, meaning that if you find a boat, it is ready to use immediately.

Boats can still be damaged or destroyed.

COMBINABLES

Certain items such as sewing kits, bandages, duct tape, and more can now be combined together.

RADIOS

Radios no longer require a battery to operate. Their effective communication range has also been increased to 15 km.

INVENTORY-ACCESS

You can now access your inventory while sitting in a boat or while swimming.

Dropping items out of your inventory is still not possible in these situations, but you can use the time to organize your gear or even loot floating dead bodies in the ocean.

ITEM-SWAP

When swapping items from your inventory or hands with something from the vicinity, the dropped item will now be placed at your feet instead of taking over the position of the vicinity item.

This prevents items such as clothing from getting stuck on rooftops, inside walls, or in otherwise unreachable places.

This also applies to cutting up dead bodies. Their loot will also be dropped to your feet when doing it. A gun that is carried into hands should now also always get dropped to the dead players feet so it wont get stuck inside walls anymore.

BOOTS

It is no longer possible to drop your boots in order to move almost silently while sneaking up on other players.

Dragging boots onto items — for example to repair them — will still work as intended.

When equipping the LEHS suit, all items except your boots must still be removed. Your boots will now automatically drop to the ground when putting the suit on.

MAGAZINE DAMAGE

When holding a weapon in your hands, the chance of magazines getting damaged by incoming shots has been reduced.

Magazines can still become damaged, but it will happen less frequently compared to vanilla gameplay.

STASHES

It is no longer possible to bury backpacks or other items in order to create underground stashes.

We want to support the one-life mentality on Namalsk, where surviving and protecting your gear matters more than hiding it away underground.

WEAPON FUNCTIONALITY

Your weapon will no longer raise automatically when aiming close to obstacles.

Additionally, firearms can now only jam if either the weapon itself or the magazine is in a damaged condition. Items in worn condition will no longer cause weapon jams.

ITEM SPAWN OFFSET

Items that spawn will now always be slightly elevated to prevent smaller objects — such as ammo, lighters, and similar items — from glitching into surfaces where they can no longer be picked up.

NAC HELMET

To match the NAC Plate Carrier, a new NAC helmet has been added to the A3 area.

FIRST HIT BLEEDS

Zombies can now only cause bleeding after their third successful hit. Getting cut from the very first hit is no longer possible.

CANNIBALISM

Becoming a cannibal is now a valid choice for your current life. But once the decision is made, there is no turning back.

After being marked as a cannibal, eating normal food will make you throw up. From that moment on, killing becomes the only reliable way to survive.

A new HUD icon will permanently indicate your condition. We also removed the weapon-aim twitching to make combat feel less frustrating. Only the laughter remains, as a constant reminder of what you have become.
