Wreck It Rust is a non-player admin run Rust server that has been running for three years. The server focuses mainly on the community, helping new players, and having fun.
The server is mostly populated by regulars, and people who just want to enjoy the game without the toxicity you can find in Officials.
Wreck It Rust is fully vanilla gameplay with the addition of Admin run events, such as our most popular Gauntlet, our Wreck It Royale, Wreck It League, Hide 'n' Seek, Treasure Hunt and more. Winning players of the events recieve Rust skins as prizes, and all players are put into a ranking scoreboard, the top of which wins a cash prize at the end of the season.
None of the admins play on Wreck It Rust, or play Rust at all anymore. The extent to which the admins are involved in game play is in building and hosting events.
We like to consider ourselves 'friendly admins' in that we look to get along with all our players, and like to check in with people to make sure they're having a good time, you will see us frequently checking in through server chat.
Our server rules are as follows:
-English only in chat - Unfortunately the other admins and I only speak English, and so can only moderate chat in English.
- No racism, of any kind, in any format. This includes Nazi signs, the N word in any form, and xenophobic comments. We have a one warning system for racism. You will be warned once, and on the second occasion you will be banned.
- No hate speech. This is more of an extention of the no racism rule. We just want everyone to feel accepted, so no sexism, no homophobia, no xenophobia.
- Griefing IS allowed. Griefing is an important part of a game like Rust, forcing your enemies to use time and resources to rebuild opposed to revenge. We do ask more experienced players to consider not griefing the noobs, but equally we won't stop you from doing so.
- No group limit. While we would rather have a 5-man max, we found that trying to enforce such a rule was detrimental to the growth of the server.
