General Rules

1. You must have a working microphone, however, if you are a deaf or a mute

 please let the admins know.

2. You must have access to discord. This is primarily what we use to communicate

whether it regards staff, applications, server events, and etc.

3. If a problem needs to be resolved, make a ticket.

4. Do not backchat admins whether in game or in discord.

 We appreciate all that care about the community and want to help out but please leave this to

 our administrators who are tasked to take care of these situations.

5. This is a level 10 RP server, so real life actions will be taken (e.g should a terrorist not

 have a hostage at the bank, PD will be allowed to penetrate while the bank is being robbed.

  Should a hostage be present, PD has to negotiate.)

6. Negotiation of weapons being used will not be allowed.

7. Once a scene has begun, all players are expected to use full role playing.

8. Please plan your strategy beforehand and very carefully, if not understood please

make a ticket.

9. If your planning does not work out, it will automatically fall under submission/giving up.

10. Please note: Whilst on some players screens doors may be open, on other players screens

 the doors may be closed. Please make sure you have proper cover.

11. If running from the cops and you endanger other pedestrians/drivers on the road,

PD will be allowed to take out your car’s tires to disable the getaway vehicle.

12. Should there be a problem with RP or a situation, please try and resolve between players.

 If you cannot resolve, please ask the admins to assist.

13. If any illegal locations are found by PD or SWAT, the location will be moved.

14. SWAT is higher ranked than PD officers they control a site if on site so know they incharge if on site.

 You can only move to SWAT if asked to join or if asked by Chief of police

INGAME RULES

1. Vehicle Death match (VDM). Using any vehicle as a weapon is not allowed. (E.g. running people over, ramming into their vehicles, etc...).

2. Random Death match (RDM). Killing someone without engaging in any form of role-play (E.g. not giving people enough time to comply with your demands. Repeating words such as “hands up or you're going to die” and countdowns are not considered quality role-play. Please attempt to create an interesting role-play story before (attempting to) killing someone. You have to think about if your character would actually kill the person.

3. Using any sort of modification that changes the functionality of the game is not permitted while you are logged into our servers. E.g. mods/cheats, crosshairs, etc… Punishment is a ban. Map mods and visual mods are exempt

4. Abusing game mechanics under any circumstance is not allowed and will be punished with a kick or ban. Examples of this are: Using emotes to go through doors/walls, removing items from your inventory while down or cuffed, transferring/processing items through walls etc…

5. Using and/or abusing any exploits or bugs is not allowed and will result in a warning, kick or ban depending on the severity. If you discover an exploit or bug, please report it using the forums or contact a staff member on Discord.

6. Combat logging is not allowed. Combat logging is leaving when you’re in an active RP situation. This includes logging out and back in to get yourself back up, respawning on an active scene, logging out to not get caught by police etc. If your game has frozen/crashed, please let a staff member know as soon as possible to prevent any misunderstandings.

7. No trolling the following examples are considered trolling, however, there are multiple others, so we advise common sense: Throwing yourself in front of vehicles, playing music through your microphone, jumping off buildings without RP, spamming OOC chat...

8. Trading any sort of in-game items/services for real life money is not permitted. This is due to the fact that we do not want to be looking like a commercial entity, or any of our members for that case.

9. Idling is not allowed and will result in a kick. The server has only a certain number of slots so when people idle on the server it limits the number of people that you can actually role-play with. So, if you are going to be idle please leave the server until you are ready to play again.

10. Kidnapping / Hostage Taking of Emergency Services:

    Police/EMS can only be taken when the Police/EMS Presence is high.

11. admin favorite car is a Nissan R34.

12.EMS is there to help everyone on the server and will play out full RP on scenes.

13. If e.g 11 PD are online and 2 terrorist decides to rob a bank, 6 PD will be allowed to respond, should players join on the terrorist team, more PD will be allowed to respond, the reason for this is that this is a real life level 10 server. Please make sure your scenes are planned properly.

14. If the bank has been robbed, please wait at least 15 min for the police to restock and regroup.

15. EMS is not allowed to be present on site when a situation is being played out. EMS will only be allowed once they have been called out/requested for.

METAGAMING

1. Using the out of character chat (OOC) to gain in character (IC) information is not allowed. E.g. share/use information that may influence actions in-game or that could give players information about something that is going to happen/happened in-game.

2. Somebody must tell you their name for you to know it. Please use real ingame first and last name.

3. Stream sniping/TS ghosting will result in a kick or ban

4. You are allowed to be using Discord, if you are logged onto the relevant channel (e.g PD channel if you are PD, EMS channel if you are EMS etc…) to communicate about things in game.

6. Your character only knows the information that you have been told in the game. Sharing information between characters belonging to the same user is prohibited. The focus of RP should be roleplaying with others rather than playing all the roles yourself? Examples to this also include creating a new character doing the exact same thing as your previous character did with the same people. This includes using a friend's character, giving them the money, you intend to hand over to your other character.

NEW LIFE RULE

1. A new life means that your character has respawned after being downed. You will still be the same character you played before.

2. As soon as you have respawned your character has to leave the site and return to Legion square, PD, EMS or wherever your job is located, you are not allowed to be involved in the same situation once you have been downed. You are only allowed to participate in the next scene.

3. EMS will determine if you are dead or injured, however, head and chest shots will automatically fall under the new life rule, should there be no EMS in game. After being shot and killed in the arms, legs and stomach the PD will have the right to give you a jail sentence.

ROLEPLAY

1. RP is roleplaying. The way you speak to people in real life, RP has to be followed. If mistaken, a admin will assist.

2. Combat storing is not allowed (E.g. storing a vehicle whilst you are being chased to prevent role-play)

3. Roleplaying subjects like rape or other questionable related subjects will not be tolerated. You are required to stop as soon as requested by people involved. Questionable subjects like e.g. real-life terrorism, torture and self-harm can be done with high tier RP, however you will need consent from all parties involved.

5. Cop baiting is not allowed and will result in a kick. Baiting for the sake of a fight is not allowed, however, you can taze an officer to piss off PD to escalate into a car chase or gang fight.

6. Do not break character unless a member of the staff team authorizes you to speak out of character.

7. Killing someone must be done with high-quality RP and a viable reason. You cannot decide to execute or kill someone’s character off unless they agree to it. Killing someone must be carried out with high-quality role-play, put your hands up or I will shoot etc. is considered low-quality RP and may lead to a ban/kick for RDM/Fail RP.

8. GTA Driving is not allowed. Driving 100+ kmph in the city is Fail RP (Unless involved in a 10-80/police chase/ medical emergency). Taking unrealistic jumps, driving and crashing into everything etc. is considered fail RP.

9. PD has to set up perimeters to ensure that there are no outside shooters (e.g snipers). Terrorists can stipulate that there are outside shooters whilst negotiating. Police or SWAT units has to be prepared for any situation.

10. Using anything that has been taken off you or that you are limited to use is considered fail RP. E.g. when terrorist say that they have taken your phone, your phone has been taken and you are not allowed to communicate with your team outside. If the scene is completed anything that has been taken from you will automatically be given back.

11. You are not allowed to impersonate EMS. This includes impersonating them while off duty if they are on high command. This is a whitelisted job, however, if someone impersonates a police officer make sure to ask their name, surname and rank and go to PD and ask to make a case.

12. When you are performing actions in game (e.g. taking someone's phone) you should always use /ME’s and /do’s, as this confirms the action has been done. When using these commands, it shall not be abused. This means you cannot magically lock pick out of jail cells; everything should be carried out realistically in RP. If you do not do /do this means you have not completed the action.

13. Power gaming is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to forcing people into situations where they have no other choice. For example, forcing people to take money out of their bank accounts, or forcing them to give them the actual key to their car. This will result into actions taken against you.

14. Armed Crimes: The firing of guns should be a last resort.

15. At this time we do not allow Police or EMS to role-play Corruption as the police force / EMS is not large enough to support it. (Rule will change as server grows)
